The HeritageWork MIDYEAR MOUNTAIN News

...our work continues at elevation!... and see a partnering invitation below

Greetings from 7300 feet!

Sarah & I continue our full-time unconventional work of providing come-as-you-are welcome and now hosting individuals, couples and groups for experiencing solitude, silence, stars, sleep, deep conversation (when desired), contemplation & awe, and rest & re-creation for the soul.  Hiking, fishing, and outdoor options are endless.

It came to pass in February that we were able to purchase 3 structures on 35 acres, a mere 2 1/2 hours from Denver, in the Sangre de Cristo range. Already many of you have visited!  It's been a steady stream since we got here.  We are meeting many locals and setting tables.  We are also maintaining a town home in Centennial and Pat will commute again in the Fall & Winter to meet with men, and groups of men weekly.

Our vocation remains:  To make pastoral care, spiritual awakening, community and friendship available through organically-formed relationships, winsome invitation, and welcoming hospitality to neighbors and strangers--- outside traditional religious structures, but awake to the wily un-contained Spirit of Christ dwelling in & around us.

Please see invitation to help sustain this work below, thank you.

PARTNERING INVITATION FOR PAT & SARAH'S WORK:

To add stability in this new season, we are seeking 25-30 more donor-partners at $20/mo or more, monthly or one-time. Or if a current donor, consider adding a small increase.

  • The HeritageWork has been made 100% possible by individual partners for 24 years. There are no other expenses other than salary.

  • Pat & Sarah submit their vision, work and life to an advisory board.

  • This project is administered by a longstanding (since 1989) tax-exempt public charitable foundation, New Horizons Foundation, operating strictly under state and federal laws.
